A bin discharger is a mechanical device used to empty bulk materials from storage containers, such as silos, bins, and hoppers. The device is designed to break up and discharge material that has become compacted, bridged, or otherwise difficult to move by gravity alone.Bin dischargers typically consist of a motor-driven rotating shaft that is fitted with blades, paddles, or other agitating devices. The shaft is inserted through the top of the storage container, and the blades or paddles are lowered into the material. As the shaft rotates, the agitating devices break up the material and move it toward the bottom of the container, where it can be discharged by gravity or by another conveyor system.
